Day 2 – Paris

Total distance covered: 80 km

07:45 AM – Departure from Paris.
08:30 AM – Arrival at the Palace of Versailles (tickets not included; please note that there may be long lines for entry due to the high number of visitors). This magnificent palace, once the residence of the Kings of France, offers a fascinating insight into French culture and history.

11:30 AM – Departure from Versailles. Departure time may vary in case of entry delays. Upon returning to Paris, we will head to Montmartre, the bohemian artists’ quarter, where we can enjoy the stunning Sacré-Cœur Basilica and stroll through the charming square and winding alleys of the district.

03:00 PM – We begin a panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide, lasting approximately two and a half hours. The tour takes us to iconic landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, Madeleine Church, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, Tour Saint-Jacques, City Hall, Île de la Cité with Notre Dame Cathedral, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, Luxembourg Gardens, Les Invalides, the Military School, Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower, and the banks of the Seine. We will make short stops near Les Invalides and Champ de Mars. After the tour, we return to the hotel with an optional stop in the city center for those who wish to enjoy some additional free time in Paris.

At the end of this activity-packed day, the guide will suggest an optional evening outing to attend a cabaret or variety show, such as the Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin.

Note: Due to the high number of tourists in Paris, the order of services in the city may vary.

Day 3 – Paris

08:30 AM – Departure from the hotel. We will head to the Eiffel Tower, where your ticket includes access to the second floor (please note that there may be long waiting times due to the large number of visitors). The second floor offers the best views, providing an ideal height to admire the city: clearer than from the top floor and broader than from the first floor. On a clear day, you can see up to 70 kilometers away.

After descending from the tower, we will enjoy a scenic cruise along the Seine River, offering stunning views of Paris’s most famous landmarks and bridges. The cruise lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Afterward, you will have some free time to explore at your leisure.

Note: If waiting times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, the visit may be rescheduled to another time (or to Sunday) for your comfort.

Day 4 – From Paris through Beaune to Lyon

Today, we’ll journey to the heart of France, passing through the Bourgogne region, renowned for its picturesque vineyards and world-class wines. Our first stop will be Beaune, a charming town in the center of Burgundy known for its flower-filled streets, hospice, and wine museum. After some free time for lunch and a walk, we’ll continue to Lyon, the former capital of Roman Gaul, located on the banks of the Rhône River. Lyon´s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière, where we can enjoy a stunning view of the city. You’ll have some free time to explore at your leisure.

Note: In some cases, part of the group will stay in Chambéry, a city near Lyon. In these instances, we’ll travel to Chambéry in the evening for an overnight stay. In the morning, you’ll have time to visit this medieval-style city, the capital de la Saboya, known for its beautiful historic center and impressive castle.

Day 5 – From Lyon to Geneva – Neuchâtel – Arrival in Zurich

 

Scenery: Mountains and lakes.

Notes: Don’t forget to bring your camera! Please also keep your passport handy, as it may be requested when crossing the border into Switzerland.

08:00 AM – Departure from Lyon. A beautiful journey awaits us as we head toward Switzerland.

10:00 AM – Arrival in Geneva, a vibrant city on the shores of Lake Geneva. Known as the capital of French-speaking Switzerland, Geneva hosts the European headquarters of the United Nations, the International Labour Organization, the Red Cross, and many other international organizations. By bus, we will pass by the Palais des Nations (European UN headquarters). With our guide, we will visit the lovely English Garden and its famous Flower Clock, admire the Jet d’Eau—the tallest fountain in Europe—and enjoy some free time to stroll around the city center and along the lakeside.

01:00 PM – After lunch, we continue our journey across Switzerland, passing by the stunning lakes of Geneva and Neuchâtel.

02:30 PM – Arrival in Neuchâtel, a city rich in cultural and architectural heritage. Here you can enjoy a walk along the lakeshore, explore the historic old town, or visit the beautiful 10th-century castle.

04:00 PM – Departure from Neuchâtel, passing by the picturesque Lake Biel.
06:15 PM – Arrival in Zurich. You will have free time to explore the city center.

Note: Depending on the number of travelers from Geneva to Zurich, this leg of the journey may be made by train. In this case, there will be no stop in Neuchâtel.

Day 6 – From Zurich to Rapperswil and Return to Zurich

Total distance covered by train: 42 km

Note: Today’s itinerary is unique, as it includes a boat trip across Lake Zurich and a return journey by train. Depending on the number of travelers, transfers to and from the city center may be made using public transportation. Please note that boat schedules are subject to change, and the program may be adjusted accordingly.

09:00 AM – We depart from the hotel for a relaxing day. Our guide will lead us on a leisurely walking tour of Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city and its financial and cultural hub. Famous for its banking industry, Zurich has twice been recognized as the city with the best quality of life in the world.

10:30 AM – We begin a scenic two-hour cruise on Lake Zurich. Along the way, the boat will make short stops, giving us the chance to admire the picturesque villages lining the lakeshore.

12:30 PM – Arrival in Rapperswil – this charming small town is renowned for its medieval castle. You will have free time to explore and enjoy lunch.

03:00 PM – We return to Zurich by train, experiencing the efficiency and precision of Switzerland’s railway system. The journey back takes less than 35 minutes. Afterwards, you will have free time to further explore the city on your own.

Day 7 – From Zurich to Grindelwald and Lucerne, Return to Zurich

Total distance covered: 280 km

Note: Wear warm clothing and comfortable walking shoes, and don’t forget your camera. Please be aware that the cable car may not operate at certain times due to weather conditions (strong winds) or maintenance work. In such cases, an alternative transfer to a similar location will be provided.

07:30 AM – Departure from Zurich for a scenic journey through breathtaking landscapes of towering mountains and pristine lakes.

10:00 AM – Arrival in Grindelwald. Enjoy a coffee break in this alpine resort in the Bernese Alps before taking the cable car up to Grindelwald-First (tickets included), the largest ski area in the region. We will take a 30-minute walk along a trail offering stunning Alpine views, including the “Cliff Walk by Tissot,” a suspended walkway where you can admire the surrounding glaciers. Lunch is included for all travelers (vegetarian option available).

01:45 PM – Departure from Grindelwald, continuing to Lucerne.

03:30 PM – Arrival in Lucerne. You will have time to explore this charming Swiss city, including the Chapel Bridge, the covered wooden bridge over the Reuss River, the Town Hall Square and Clock Tower, and the pedestrian streets filled with elegant shops. Enjoy a stroll around the city and dinner before returning to Zurich.

07:00 PM – Departure from Lucerne back to Zurich.
08:00 PM – Arrival in Zurich.

Note: For operational reasons, the departure from Lucerne may be brought forward to 5:30 PM, allowing time for dinner in Zurich before returning to the hotel.

Optional Excursion: The guide will also offer a full-day optional tour starting in the morning. After some free time in Lucerne, we will take the rotating cable car up to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, the Alpine peak offers breathtaking views of glaciers and the Swiss Alps.

Day 8 – From Zurich to Bellinzona and Como, Arrival in Milan

Total distance covered: 290 km

Scenery: Stunning views of the Alps, mountains, and lakes – don’t forget your camera!

08:00 AM – Departure from Zurich. We begin our journey early in the morning, crossing the Alps toward the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.

10:45 AM – Arrival in Bellinzona, a city famous for its three medieval castles, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. With their walls, towers, and gates overlooking the town from the hills, these castles are outstanding examples of medieval military architecture. Free time to stroll through the charming old town streets.

12:00 PM – Departure from Bellinzona.

01:15 PM – Arrival in Como, a jewel of the Lombardy region, renowned for its scenic lakeside promenade, beautiful gardens, and stunning cathedral. Free time to walk around and enjoy lunch.

03:15 PM – Departure from Como.
04:15 PM – Arrival in Milan. Our guide will take us to the magnificent Piazza del Duomo, where you will have time to explore and take photos.

08:00 PM – Transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 – From Milan to Pisa, Arrival in Rome

Total distance covered: 640 km

Scenery: Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, with stunning coastal landscapes and natural beauty along the way.

08:30 AM – Departure from Milan, Italy’s financial heart, heading toward the city of Pisa.

12:00 PM – Arrival in Pisa. Upon arrival, we will board the tourist train that takes us to the Piazza dei Miracoli. You will have time to enjoy one of Italy’s most remarkable artistic complexes, featuring the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, and the impressive Baptistery.

03:00 PM – Departure from Pisa and continuation of our journey toward the Italian capital, Rome.

08:30 PM – Arrival in Rome.

Day 9 – Milan – Pisa – Rome

Total distance covered: 640 km

Scenery: We will enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, with stunning coastal landscapes and natural beauty along the way.

08:30 AM – Departure from Milan, the financial heart of Italy, heading toward the city of Pisa.

12:00 PM – Arrival in Pisa. Upon arrival, we will take the small tourist train to the Piazza dei Miracoli. You will have time to admire one of Italy’s most extraordinary artistic complexes, featuring the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, and the magnificent Baptistery.

03:00 PM – Departure from Pisa, continuing our journey toward the Italian capital, Rome.

08:30 PM – Arrival in Rome.

📌 Note: Timings on this stage of the journey may vary. Late arrivals in both Pisa and Rome are possible to coordinate with travelers joining from Nice.

Day 10 – Rome

In the morning, we will enjoy a panoramic tour with a local guide, lasting about three hours, through the Eternal City of Rome—one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. The tour combines both bus travel and a walking section through part of Imperial Rome, where we will see, among the highlights: the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, and the Imperial Forums—an architectural complex that was once the political heart of the ancient world.

During the bus portion of the tour, we will pass by several iconic landmarks, including:
Circus Maximus, the Basilica of St. Mary in Cosmedin with the famous Bocca della Verità (Mouth of Truth), the Republican Temples, the Baths of Caracalla, the Aurelian Walls, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Cathedral of St. John Lateran, the Church of Santa Maria in Domnica (Navicella), the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, Porta San Paolo, Tiber Island, Lungotevere with the Babylonian-style Jewish Synagogue, and the exterior of Castel Sant’Angelo.

This tour will end around 11:00 AM at Vatican City—an independent state within Rome and the spiritual center of the Catholic Church. After the panoramic tour, the guide will offer an optional visit for those interested to explore the most important halls of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel in greater detail.

Afternoon: Free time.

06:00 PM – At the end of the day, we will provide a transfer to the famous Trastevere district, where you will find countless dining options, from traditional Italian trattorias to international restaurants.
Return to the hotel will be around 08:30 PM.

Day 11 – From Rome to Florence

Scenery: The Apennine Mountains and the Tuscan vineyards.

📌 Note: Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as the Florence tour involves walking.

08:00 AM – Departure from Rome through the Tiber Valley.
12:15 PM – Arrival in Florence. Our first stop will be Piazzale Michelangelo, a panoramic viewpoint offering a breathtaking view of the city—don’t forget your camera! Afterward, we will enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour walking tour with a local guide, visiting the Cathedral (Duomo), Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Straw Market, Piazza della Repubblica, and Palazzo Vecchio.

Afternoon: Free time to explore the city’s markets and historic museums at your own pace.

Florence offers a wide variety of restaurants serving both local and international cuisine for dinner. After your meal, we will return to the hotel.

Day 12 – From Florence to Venice

Total distance covered: 310 km

Scenery: Crossing the Apennine Mountains and the Po Valley.

08:15 AM – Departure from Florence, enjoying the beautiful mountain views along the way.
12:00 PM – Arrival in Venice at Tronchetto station. From there, we will take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the island. Enjoy a guided tour of St. Mark’s Square, followed by a visit to a Murano glass factory, where you will witness a live demonstration of traditional glassblowing techniques. The afternoon will be free to explore the city at your leisure.

07:30 PM – Return to the mainland and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation will be in the Mestre area.

Day 13 – Venice

After breakfast, our journey comes to an end, leaving you with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

📌 Note: Hotel check-out time is usually at 10:00 AM. You may leave your luggage at the reception after check-out, allowing you to continue exploring the city without carrying your bags. You can collect your luggage later in the day at your convenience.

If you require the room for a longer period, we recommend booking an additional night at the end of your trip.
